The Salisbury Arms Hotel in Hertford is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our busy team. You will support chefs, maintain cleanliness, and help ensure smooth service during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and closing down the kitchen ready for service or the next trading session
• Keep the kitchen and all equipment clean, tidy and hygienic at all times
• Ensure that the kitchen does not run out of clean crockery and cutlery during service
• Be a team player, helping and assisting the Chefs when required

Key Responsibilities of a Kitchen Assistant

Under 18 £10.59 per hour £8.85 + average tronc £1.74(based on Tronc paid out May/June 2025)

18-20 £11.79 per hour £10.05 + average tronc £1.74(based on Tronc paid out May/June 2025)

21+ £14 per hour £12.26 + average tronc £1.74(based on Tronc paid out May/June 2025)
