Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for our Surbiton care home. You will work in a well-equipped kitchen, assisting chefs with food preparation and maintaining a clean, hygienic workspace.

You will learn about dietary needs, including dementia-friendly dining, and have opportunities to train and progress within a luxury residential environment that values compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Some kitchen experience is advantageous.
• Friendly, reliable and proactive.
• Good teamwork and communication in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

Join our talented team in a highly equipped kitchen, with the opportunity to train and progress, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Kitchen Assistant at our luxury care and nursing home in Surbiton.

Your Role at Signature

Our Kitchen Assistant is integral to the smooth running of our kitchen. You’ll be assisting chefs with food preparation, and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy.

You’ll develop an awareness of special dietary requirements, including the dementia dining experience, to assist the chefs in meeting these needs.
