Job summary

Marston's is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support a busy kitchen team in our pub environment. You’ll learn quickly, pick up new skills, and contribute to safe, high-quality food preparation on shift.

You’ll have the opportunity to progress toward the Commis Chef role, help keep areas clean, and benefit from flexible hours and employee discounts as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to work well in a team and show reliability.
• Willingness to progress through the kitchen career pathway.

Responsibilities

• Assist the kitchen team in daily food preparation.
• Help maintain high food safety standards and kitchen cleanliness.
• Contribute to keeping kitchen areas tidy and organized.
• Take pride in the food you prep and serve.
• Be committed to being a team player and eligible for progression to Commis Chef.

• Have the opportunity to progress and learn the ropes of the Commis Chef role.

• Help to maintain that all kitchen areas remain clean and clutter free
