Kitchen Assistant at Upperdeck Glasgow airport

Role Responsibility

• Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic.
• Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately.
• Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients.
• Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare salads and desserts.
• Disposing of rubbish.
• Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas.

The Ideal Candidate

• Highly motivated.
• Able to work on own initiative within a team environment.

Package Description

• £12 per hour
• Shifts will vary from 0415-1245 and 1230-2100
• Shift pattern 3 on 3 off
• Casual position.
• Employee benefits, rewards and recognition.
• Staff car parking.
• Mandatory vetting - (Permanent position once vetting is complete and full security pass is obtained).
• Full training provided.
• You must be able to provide 5 years working history, and 5 years address.
