The Menu Partners Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Porter to keep the kitchen and back-of-house areas running smoothly, maintaining cleanliness and organisation so chefs have equipment ready to use. This fast-paced, hands-on role supports high standards in a professional event setting.

Responsibilities

• Wash crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils to a high standard.
• Basic Food Prep such as packing and preparing sandwiches.
• Keep all kitchen and wash-up areas clean, tidy, and organised at all times.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is cleaned, maintained, and ready for use by chefs.
• Support Chefs in basic Kitchen tasks
• Support the goods-in process, including checking and storing deliveries hygienically and taking food temperatures.
• Maintain clean, organised food and equipment storage areas.
• Carry out daily cleaning tasks according to the cleaning schedule.
• Use correct chemicals safely in line with COSHH guidelines.
• Remove and dispose of kitchen rubbish, ensuring bins are kept clean and compacted.
• Sweep and mop all kitchen floors and wipe down walls daily.
• Ensure all areas are fully cleaned and ready for the next service.
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested by management.

About The Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation, ensuring chefs have the equipment they need ready to use. This role is fast-paced and hands-on, requiring excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

This is a 10-month Contract (excluding the months of July & August)

30 hours (8:30am - 15:00pm)

Your Key Responsibilities will be :
