Job Title: Kitchen Assistant at HC-One

In your role as a Kitchen Assistant at HC-One, you'll value one thing above all: kindness. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Responsibilities

1. Help prepare and serve nutritious, healthy meals loved by residents.
2. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene.
3. Manage food supplies and fridge/freezer temperatures.
4. Assist new starters with equipment use.
5. Ensure resident wellbeing is prioritized in all tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

• Some kitchen experience preferred.
• NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation, or willingness to study for one.
• Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Kind and considerate communication with residents and colleagues.

Safeguarding

Recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect. Attend safeguarding training and know how to report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
