This role based at Zetland Court is part of our award-winning brand, Caterplus, one of the UK's leading catering services specialising in the care sector. We are dedicated to making a difference for the over 55 community by providing high-quality, locally sourced food and creating a warm environment that fosters social interaction and friendships.

What you’ll be doing…

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will have significant responsibilities and opportunities for growth, becoming a vital part of our team.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the menu and special offers to inform customers and clients effectively
• Ensure the kitchen area is clean, well-presented, and well-stocked at all times
• Support the Chef(s) by assisting with food preparation and maintaining high standards in the kitchen environment
• Report any maintenance issues with equipment to ensure smooth operation
• Operate the till as required, following correct procedures
• Adhere to COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety regulations, reporting incidents as necessary

Working Pattern: 5 days over 7, 37.5 hours per week
