Job summary

Farmhouse Inns is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support a busy back-of-house team. You’ll help keep the kitchen stocked, clean and organized so every service runs smoothly and every dish meets our standards.

You’ll maintain hygiene and safety, communicate clearly with colleagues, and show willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a kitchen is desirable.

Job Description

As a back of house teammate, you’ll play a key part in the kitchen ensuring a busy service runs smoothly. You’ll make sure everything is well stocked, clean, and the team around you have everything they need to create the perfect dish for our customers. You'll also be responsible for ensuring our carvery looks and tastes fantastic, our meals from the kitchen are cooked and plated to specification, and you might even be lucky enough to serve our fantastic cakes.

Qualifications

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will…

• Help the kitchen service run smoothly by making sure it is well stocked and clean.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Communicate clearly with your team, ensuring they have everything they need.
