Job summary

Farmhouse Inns is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support a busy kitchen, ensuring the carvery area is well stocked, clean, and ready for service. You will help with plating and presentation to specification while maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.

You will work as part of a back-of-house team, learning and growing in a busy pub kitchen within the Greene King family, with potential career development across our brands.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a kitchen is desirable.
• Ability to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
• Clear communication with team.

Job Description

As a back of house teammate, you’ll play a key part in the kitchen ensuring a busy service runs smoothly. You’ll make sure everything is well stocked, clean, and the team around you have everything they need to create the perfect dish for our customers. You'll also be responsible for ensuring our carvery looks and tastes fantastic, our meals from the kitchen are cooked and plated to specification, and you might even be lucky enough to serve our fantastic cakes.

Qualifications

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will…

• Help the kitchen service run smoothly by making sure it is well stocked and clean.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Communicate clearly with your team, ensuring they have everything they need.
