Job summary

The Botanist Birmingham is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team, maintain hygiene, prep batches and assist chefs with essential kitchen tasks. You will work closely with the chefs on shift to keep the kitchen organised, equipment clean and ingredients prepared to spec.

This Christmas FTC offers training, onsite meals and staff discounts as part of a supportive hospitality environment with opportunities to grow within The New World Trading Company family.

Qualifications

• Previous food preparation experience is helpful but not essential.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.

• Assisting the kitchen team during service
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures

We're looking for Kitchen Assistants who take pride in keeping things organised, clean and running smoothly. You play an important role in keeping the kitchen operating efficiently by maintaining hygiene standards, preparing food batches, and supporting chefs with essential kitchen tasks.

You work closely with the chefs on shift to ensure the kitchen remains well organised, equipment is clean and ready for use, and ingredients are prepared according to spec.
