Job summary

Loungers plc at Portico Lounge is hiring a Kitchen Assistant on a temporary basis. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean and organised while supporting chefs with prep when needed.

It’s a simple but vital role that keeps the team running smoothly, with seasonal work and potential for extension. You’ll earn up to £12.71/hr plus tips, receive paid breaks, staff meals every shift, and 50% off food and drinks from day one.

About the Kitchen Assistant Role

• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and well organised throughout the day
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen areas, equipment, and washing up
• Support the chefs with food prep during service and prep time
• Follow food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times
• Stick to Lounge kitchen processes and equipment guides
• Work as part of one team to help deliver a brilliant customer experience
