Job summary

YO! at Tesco is seeking dynamic individuals to join our fresh sushi kiosk team. You will assist the manager in daily operations, prepare food and serve customers with a smile, and help maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.

We value ambition, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude. The role offers a flexible hybrid setup, with on-site work Monday to Thursday and Fridays from home, plus opportunities for progression and wellbeing benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist your manager in the daily running of our kiosk, preparing food and serving customers with a smile.
• Be highly attentive to detail and deliver consistent standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure daily records of delivery, wastage and temperature checks are complete and recorded accurately.
• Support us to build customer loyalty by ensuring the highest quality in food and service.
• Interact confidently with customers, have great menu knowledge and drive sales to leave customers happy.

Since launching its first in-store kiosk in Tesco in 2018, YO! has transformed the supermarket sushi experience across the UK. What started as an innovative partnership to bring freshly made sushi directly to shoppers has grown into one of the UK’s most successful in-store food concepts, with over 300 Tesco locations nationwide by 2023. Designed with convenience in mind, the kiosk concept gives customers access to fresh, hand-prepared sushi, hot street food, poke bowls, snacks, and grab-and-go favourites"all while doing their weekly shop.
