Job summary

YO! at Tesco is looking for dynamic individuals to join our Fresh Sushi kiosk team. You will assist in daily operations, prepare food, and serve customers with a smile, while upholding high quality standards.

We value ambition, eagerness to learn, and a positive, can-do attitude. You will help ensure fast, friendly service and contribute to a great in-store experience for shoppers across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist the manager in daily kiosk operations, preparing food and serving customers with a smile.
• Maintain high attention to detail and deliver consistent standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure daily records of deliveries, wastage and temperature checks are completed and logged accurately.
• Help build customer loyalty by ensuring the highest quality in food and service standards.
• Interact confidently with customers, master menu knowledge and drive sales to leave every guest satisfied.

Since launching its first in-store kiosk in Tesco in 2018, YO! has transformed the supermarket sushi experience across the UK. What started as an innovative partnership to bring freshly made sushi directly to shoppers has grown into one of the UK’s most successful in-store food concepts, with over 300 Tesco locations nationwide by 2023. Designed with convenience in mind, the kiosk concept gives customers access to fresh, hand-prepared sushi, hot street food, poke bowls, snacks, and grab-and-go favourites"all while doing their weekly shop. What you’ll be doing:

• You will be assisting your manager in the daily running of our kiosk, preparing food and serving customers with a smile.


• You will be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards in a face paced environment.


• You will be ensuring daily records of deliver, wastage and temperature checks are completely and recorded accurately.


• You will support us to build customer loyalty by ensuring the highest possible quality in food and service standards.


• You will interact confidently with our customers- have fantastic menu knowledge and will drive sales ensuring they always leave happy with both quality of our food and customer service.
