Job summary

Hammersmith & Fulham Council is seeking a Team Manager - Kinship and Permanence to lead a specialist team across the Shared Children's Services Partnership, driving sustained permanence outcomes for children.

You will work closely with social work teams, legal services, fostering and adoption services to embed excellent permanence practice and deliver timely, safe and loving family placements.

Qualifications

• Current registration with Social Work England is required.
• Experience managing teams and driving permanence planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead Kinship and Permanence Team across the three-borough partnership.
• Drive high-quality permanence planning from the earliest stage of intervention.
• Lead on Special Guardianship, Connected Person and Kinship Care assessments.
• Champion family network solutions and family-led permanence where safe and appropriate.
• Chair permanence tracking and monitoring processes to reduce drift and delay.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and practitioners.
