Job summary

Middlesbrough Council seeks an experienced Social Worker for the Kinship Assessment – Fostering Service in Middlesbrough. The role involves assessing and training prospective Kinship carers, attending panel for approval, and submitting assessments to court.

A 15% market supplement is offered and reviewed March 2027. You will work alongside the child’s social worker and other professionals, conducting home visits, and using Coram BAAF Form K to assess candidates and support permanence plans for

Qualifications

• Experience completing complex family assessments.
• Experience coordinating with social workers and professionals.
• Willing to work in Middlesbrough and support Looked After children.

Responsibilities
