Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a Newly Qualified Social Worker to join the Kinship Team. You will assess and support families to help children stay connected with their networks, working with kinship carers and guardians to promote safe outcomes.

You will be supported through the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) with a dedicated manager, regular supervision, and a structured development program to build confidence and practice skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support families in kinship contexts to keep children connected to their family networks.
• Work with kinship foster carers, Special Guardians and Private Fostering carers to support safe outcomes for children.
• Participate in ASYE development with regular supervision and a structured training plan.
