Job description

You will be working with a group of learners as they progress through the 12 Week Team programme. From recruitment to the end of the programme, you will work closely with a Team Manager and other GMFRS staff to provide an engaging, challenging, and fun programme designed to inspire and motivate young people aged 16-25.

Based in Hyde, you will be at one of our longstanding team locations at the heart of a community serving Tameside, East Manchester, and Glossop.

About you:
  • Experience in delivering portfolio-based learning programmes
  • Project planning and budget monitoring skills
  • Knowledge of standardisation and quality assurance processes
  • Practical experience in safeguarding vulnerable young people and adults
  • Experience supporting training and education for learners from diverse backgrounds
  • Having a D1 driving qualification is desirable
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential
  • Willingness to attend 3 residential programmes (3-4 nights each) per academic year
  • Ability to work across GM
