Job summary

Middlesbrough Council is recruiting a School Crossing Patrol Officer for Pallister Park. You will help children and pedestrians cross safely at the crossing point outside the school, especially during morning and afternoon sessions, term time only.

A calm, reliable individual with awareness of road safety will be preferred; full training will be provided, and uniform is supplied. DBS checks apply, and sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Awareness of the Highway Code is advantageous.
• Experience working with children and young people is preferred.
• Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Help children and pedestrians cross the road safely at Pallister Park.
• Assist at the crossing in morning and afternoon commute during school terms.
• Maintain a calm, reliable presence to keep pedestrians safe.
