Job summary

Dudley Performing Arts seeks an enthusiastic Keyboard Specialist to teach in Dudley schools and at our Cable Plaza Music School. The role covers one-to-one and small-group keyboard tuition, including evening sessions, with a 3-day (18-hour) contract and participation in a keyboard ensemble.

Applicants should be accomplished keyboard players with strong musical knowledge, broad theory understanding, and excellent communication skills. QTS pathway encouraged and Students’ Pension Scheme offered.

Qualifications

• Accomplished keyboard player with broad musical knowledge.
• Strong communication skills and passion for developing young people’s musical potential.
• Flexibility to teach 3 days (18 hours) including some evenings.

Responsibilities

• One-to-one and small-group keyboard tuition in schools and colleges.
• Evening teaching at the Cable Plaza Music School.
• Deliver high-quality learning experiences for children and young people of all ages and abilities.
• Participate in weekly rehearsals and provide opportunities through a keyboard ensemble.
• Support Dudley Performing Arts’ wider music education programme.
