Job summary

Sing Education is seeking reliable, inspirational Tuition Teachers to deliver keyboard and violin lessons (Grade 6+) in small groups and 1:1 at partner primary schools. This freelance role offers weekly teaching during school hours, plus a late afternoon Music Club slot.

Locations include Greater London, Slough, Kent and North Yorkshire. A DBS check is required. A music degree and QTS are preferred, with excellent English communication and classroom engagement.

Qualifications

• University degree in music or related field.
• Evidence of further professional development.
• QTS preferred.
• Strong English communication and classroom engagement.
• Experience teaching music to children.

Responsibilities

• Teach keyboard and violin in small groups and 1:1.
• Deliver lessons to Grade 6 level or above.
• Teach during school hours and an after-school Music Club slot.
• Communicate professionally with schools and Sing Education.
• Attend team training and adhere to safeguarding policies.
