Job summary

Smile Education is recruiting a seasoned primary teacher for a Year 5/6 class in the M40 Oldham area. The role is full-time and long-term from September 2026, with day-to-day flexibility.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, has recent UK primary teaching experience, and can quickly establish strong relationships while delivering high-quality lessons across the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Recent UK primary teaching experience required.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Completion of Induction ECT would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Teach KS2 with a focus on Year 5/6.
• Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons across the curriculum.
• Maintain high expectations and positive classroom behaviour.

Smile Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in the M40 Oldham area who are seeking an experienced Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis from September 2026.

This is a full-time role teaching a Year 3 class. The school is looking for a confident and strong classroom practitioner who can quickly build positive relationships, maintain high expectations and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Have recent experience teaching within KS2
• Be confident teaching a Year 5/6 class
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
• Be reliable, adaptable and committed
• Work effectively as part of a wider school team

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous UK primary teaching experience
• Strong knowledge of the curriculum
• Completion of Induction ECT would be an advantage
