Job Description:

Required from: start 1 st September 2025 Until August 31 st 2026

This is a unique opportunity to join our happy, successful and very special school, whilst covering the maternity leave of a permanent member of staff.

We need an outstanding classroom teacher who shares our high standards, expectations and caring ethos.

We are looking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic teacher to join us and maintain the high standards already set in our KS2 classes.

Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs.

We warmly welcome visits to our school and should you wish to visit, please contact us on 0161 7903194 to arrange an appointment.

About us

It is difficult to sum up what makes our outstanding school so special, but top of the list are our fantastic children. They come in every morning with smiles on their faces, eager to participate and try their very best. Our staff team is second to none and high standards, expectations and team-work drive us in our pursuit of excellence.

Our beautiful, modern building is much loved and cared for and you will feel its unique ethos if you are able to visit. Our children are cared for, and make excellent progress, in a challenging, yet positive, learning culture, underpinned by our Christian faith and values. A high-quality learning environment and provision are non-negotiable for the staff and governors here. Resources and skills are deployed well to ensure a stimulating, purposeful place of learning and safety for our children.

The kind of people we welcome onto our staff team are child centred, dedicated professionals who put each individual child at the centre of everything they do. Our children and families deserve the very best and are capable of achieving great things. Our staff work with enthusiasm and never tire of the enjoyment and satisfaction of seeing children achieve their best.

If you are a good or outstanding practitioner, with high standards and expectations and would thrive, working in a supportive, happy team of staff, we would love to receive an application from you.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to a fully enhanced DBS check. Social media/online services checks may occur for shortlisted candidates.

If you have lived or worked abroad for 3 months or more in the last 5 years or 12 months or more (whether continuously or in total) in the last 10 years whilst aged 18 or over, please refer to the link below for details for how to obtain your Certificates of Good Character.
