Job description

Location: Wednesbury, West Midlands

Pay: GBP150 - GBP220 Per day (Dependant on experience and qualifications)

Role: KS2 Primary School Teacher

Start Date: September 2025 to July 2026

ABC teachers are currently on the search for a qualified Primary school teacher within the Wednesbury area, to teach a Year 5 class from September 2025. This specific role will be on a full-time basis working Monday to Friday, with the potential to become a permanent role.

The role:

  • Successful candidate will need to have good curriculum knowledge of upper KS2 to be able to plan and conduct lessons efficiently.
  • Working closely with class teaching assistants to be able to de-escalate stressful situations.
  • Able to successfully build rapport with students and teachers alike.
  • Have a purpose to inspire children allowing them to achieve excellence and be their best.

You must:

  • Hold valid teaching experience and Qualifications (QTS)
  • Hold strong upper KS2 Curriculum knowledge.
  • Be able to provide 2 solid references covering years experience.
  • Be able to control a classroom environment efficiently while delivering high quality lessons.
  • Have a passion for teaching and learning while being able to bring a positive and creative approach to the classroom.
  • Hold a DBS registered on the update service or must be able to arrange one.
  • Have previous experience working within education or a similar environment.
