GSL Education is currently working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Loughton to recruit a talented and flexible Part-Time KS2 Teacher to start in September 2025. This position is ideal for a qualified teacher seeking a better work-life balance while remaining active in the classroom and making a meaningful impact.
You will work closely with the existing KS2 team to deliver high-quality teaching across two or three days per week (flexible scheduling can be discussed). The school is known for its collaborative staff culture, respectful pupils, and strong leadership support.

Teach a Key Stage 2 class on agreed days, ensuring continuity of learning and clear communication with co-teachers
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Maintain accurate assessments and provide pupil feedback
Support pupils’ emotional and academic development within a positive classroom climate
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues
Participate in staff meetings or training as required on a part-time basis
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Recent or relevant experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Confidence in delivering a broad and balanced KS2 curriculum
Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt to a part-time teaching role
Positive, proactive, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
Enhanced child workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply via GSL)
Right to work in the UK
