New Directions Education is recruiting Key Stage 2 Teachers/NQTs to work with primary schools in the RCT area. These roles involve short-term or long-term supply cover, offering flexible hours to suit your lifestyle. Candidates will have opportunities to participate in accredited training courses/webinars during Half term, including Team Teach, ACE’s (Adverse Childhood Experiences), First Aid, and more.

Job Specification

Whether you are a newly qualified teacher (NQT) or an experienced educator, roles include delivering the curriculum across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2). Responsibilities include:

• Teaching all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
• Organising classroom and resources to create a positive learning environment
• Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons for diverse abilities
• Motivating students with engaging presentations
• Assessing and recording pupil development
• Supporting colleagues in curriculum delivery
• Staying updated with curriculum changes
• Participating in school events, possibly outside regular hours
• Collaborating with colleagues, especially in smaller schools
