Key Stage 2 Primary School Teacher

Your new school:
An opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Teacher to work within a medium sized Primary School in Caerphilly County. The school has a happy and enthusiastic atmosphere, with the staff working together to create a supportive and inspiring environment. If successful, you will be working alongside a great Senior Leadership Team as well as supportive Teachers and Teaching Assistants. You will be a part of a team that aims to nurture good relationships between home and school.

Your new role:
This role is confirmed long term, teaching a key stage 2 class. You will be responsible for full time teaching responsibilities, including preparation while providing high quality teaching experiences for pupils to achieve their best and feel confident as they develop into their learning journey. Duties relating to the role include but are not limited to:

  1. Create lesson plans.
  2. Creating and maintaining a safe, interactive, and engaging learning environment for the pupils.
  3. Setting homework or exercises for pupils to practice after classroom hours.
  4. Demonstrating tasks, assigning, and encouraging discussions.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • You will need to be a qualified teacher holding a valid QTS.
  • Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing of pupils.
  • Up to date EWC registration.
  • A passion for creating a safe and welcoming environment for children to succeed.
