Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a KS1 Primary Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Bexleyheath (DA7). The role starts September 2026 on a temporary contract, full-time, with potential for extension or permanent placement depending on performance.

The successful candidate will hold QTS or equivalent, have at least 1 year UK teaching experience, and up-to-date safeguarding training. DBS and references will be required.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Primary Teacher for a Primary school in Bexleyheath, DA7

The school is a popular mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.

The position is open to both NQT's and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
