Job summary

Teacher Active is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher to join our pool for Worksop and the surrounding areas. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS1, support early years learners, and adapt to the needs of different primary schools within our network.

Applicants should hold QTS (ECTs welcome) and have experience teaching in UK primary schools. We offer flexible day-to-day supply, short-term and longer-term opportunities, with 24/7 consultant support and competitive PAYE rates.

Qualifications

• QTS is required; ECTs welcome.
• Experience teaching within UK primary schools is essential.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum is required.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management is expected.
• A positive, engaging and adaptable approach to teaching.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning.

Salary: £170 - £230 per day, depending on experience

Teacher Active is currently looking to expand our pool of enthusiastic and reliable Key Stage 1 Primary Teachers to work with our partner primary schools across Worksop and the surrounding areas.

We work closely with a range of mainstream primary schools and regularly receive requirements for KS1 Teachers for day-to-day supply, short-term cover and longer-term teaching opportunities.

Whether you're an experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher, an ECT looking to gain further classroom experience, or an established teacher looking for greater flexibility, we'd love to hear from you.

As a KS1 Primary Teacher, you could be working across Year 1 and Year 2, delivering engaging lessons in line with the UK Primary Curriculum while creating a positive and nurturing classroom environment.

The successful Key Stage 1 Teacher will have:
