Job summary

Academics, an education agency, seeks a qualified KS1 teacher to join our supply roster in Birmingham from September 2026. Daily work with potential to become long-term.

Plan and deliver lessons aligned to the national curriculum, adapt plans for SEND, and work with colleagues and parents to achieve strong pupil progress. A QTS or equivalent and an Enhanced DBS (update service) are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Great understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service).
• Willingness to complete relevant training continually when needed.
