Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe operates a manufacturing site in Dungannon and is recruiting Key Skilled Operatives to join the Retail team. The role focuses on processing products, maintaining hygiene and safety, and helping the team meet production KPIs in a factory setting.

Successful candidates will work in a shift pattern (Team A, 06:00-18:00) with a permanent, stable employment outlook and opportunities for training and development. Strong English literacy and numeracy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Product processing such as filleting, sealing, trimming, packing, defeshering & evisceration depending on area of work.
• Ensure personal and colleagues' health & safety.
• Maintain quality and hygiene standards.
• Package and weigh products; rotate duties as needed.

We are currently recruiting Key Skilled Operatives to join our Retail team in Pilgrim's Europe - at Dungannon site.

The successful candidates will be responsible for processing product within their department and ensuring hygiene, quality, and health & safety standards are maintained at all times. A key element of the role is working as part of a team to ensure that production KPIs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product processing (e.g., filleting, sealing, trimming, basting, packing, defeathering, evisceration – depending on area of work)
• Responsibility for personal health & safety and that of other colleagues
• Ensuring quality standards are consistently achieved
• Maintaining hygiene standards
• Product packaging and boxing
• Product weighing
• Rotation of duties and flexibility to support other areas of the factory
• Meeting productivity standards
• Operating machinery safely and efficiently (training provided)
• Carrying out any additional duties as required
