Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Manufacturing Key Operative - Hygiene at one of our production sites in the Northwich area. You will deep clean machines, dismantle, clean and re-build on multiple lines while ensuring the line is production ready and compliant with safety standards.

Working in a fast-paced production environment, you’ll follow COSHH and Food Safety practices, participate in system setups and calibrations, and contribute to maintaining a hygienic, efficient operation with a strong team

Qualifications

• You'll work in a fast-paced environment within a production team.
• Follow Health and Safety and Food Safety standards.
• Food Safety Level 2 training may be required.

Responsibilities

More about the role

As Manufacturing Key Operative - Hygiene at one of our manufacturing sites, you’ll work within our Production team to deep clean the machines, allowing us to produce quality products in a safe, efficient and hygienic environment.

You’ll use trained skills to physically dismantle, clean and re-build machines on multiple production lines, as well as conducting system set up and calibrations. You’ll follow good manufacturing practices and will help to make sure that machines are production ready, as well as managing chemicals in accordance with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) training.

• Is open to working in a production environment with varying temperatures of approximately 8 degrees and below
• Is able to follow relevant business and site policies such as Health and Safety and Food Safety standards
• Is flexible, adaptable and able to work under pressure
• Has Food Safety Level 2 (not essential)
