Are you an experienced Account Manager with a passion for strategic client relationships and digital solutions? ASP is seeking a Key Account Manager to take ownership of some of our most valuable client relationships. This is a senior-level role, responsible for maintaining and growing long-term partnerships with leading global event organisers.

About the Role

As Key Account Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ASP’s client strategy. You will manage a portfolio of high-value accounts — including some of the most recognised names in the events industry — and work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, offer digital solutions, and deliver measurable results.

This is both a strategic and hands-on position, ideal for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, spotting commercial opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver consistently high service levels.

Core Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and sustain long-term partnerships with key customers, acting as their main point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Account Growth & Retention: Identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities within your accounts. Develop plans to retain and grow key business.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain strategic account plans that align ASP’s digital solutions with the client’s goals, timelines, and KPIs.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and quotations, tailored to client needs and business objectives.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with ASP’s sales, technical, support, and product teams to ensure a seamless and high-quality client experience.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to ongoing refinement of internal processes and tools to better serve clients and scale account operations.
  • Training & Onboarding: Take the lead on onboarding new clients, and support training for both client teams and new internal staff.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the exhibitions or events industry, ideally in a sales, marketing, or client services role.
  • A solid track record in account management or business development, with experience managing senior client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of solution-based sales, client success planning, and the ability to demonstrate value over time.
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills — able to engage with clients at all levels, including senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with digital products, software platforms, and web technology. Previous experience in SaaS or digital services is a plus.
  • Highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Experience with CRM and reporting tools such as Salesforce, Teams, and Zendesk.
