Fawkes & Reece Group in Brighton is seeking a Kerb Layer to join our civil engineering team on a temporary, full-time basis. You will set out, lay and finish concrete and stone kerbs, read basic drawings, and work closely with groundworkers and site supervisors to deliver high-quality kerbwork.

The role requires experience in kerb laying, good physical fitness, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifikationen

• Kerb laying, levels, gradients and line experience.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience on highways, roads, housing or civil projects.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Aufgaben

• Set out and install concrete and stone kerbs, edgings and channels.
• Prepare and level ground and foundations prior to kerb installation.
• Lay kerbs accurately to line, level, gradient and specification.
• Read and work from drawings, levels and site specifications.
• Carry out repairs, adjustments and finishing works where required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area.
• Follow all site health and safety requirements and procedures.
