Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a Kerb Layer for the Monklands Project in Scotland. You will install kerbs, edgings and paving to drawing and site instructions, and help ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.

You should have previous kerb layering experience in civil engineering or infrastructure, be able to set out kerbs accurately from drawings, and work well with others on site. A CSCS card and willingness to travel to site are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kerb Layer within civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to accurately set out and lay kerbs.
• Experience working from drawings and levels.
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Installation of kerbs, edgings and associated paving works.
• Setting out and laying kerbs to required line and level.
• Working from drawings and site instructions.
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Assisting with associated groundworks activities where required.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
