Senior kdb+ Contractor – Capital Markets

I’m working on a new contract opportunity for a senior kdb+ engineer to work on complex, real-time data platforms within financial markets.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys getting into the detail — building and improving high-performance kdb+ systems, working with large volumes of market data and solving problems where latency, scalability and reliability are critical.

• Experience building and improving production kdb+ platforms
• Good understanding of real-time and time-series data
• Background within capital markets, trading or investment banking
• Experience working with large, high-frequency datasets
• Comfortable owning technical decisions and working directly with stakeholders

Experience with Python, cloud environments, electronic trading or modern AI development tools would also be useful.
