Job summary

Gravitas Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking a Senior KDB+ Developer to join our London-based Front Office electronic trading technology team. This hands-on contract role designs and delivers high-performance Real Time KDB+ solutions for trading, pricing, risk and analytics platforms.

You will work closely with traders and technology stakeholders in a hybrid London setup, driving rapid delivery cycles, providing technical leadership and mentoring junior developers.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with KDB+/q.
• Experience in low-latency, Real Time systems.
• Solid Linux/Unix expertise.
• Performance tuning and monitoring experience.
• Strong understanding of software development and testing practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support KDB+ applications and Real Time data platforms.

• Develop APIs, data models and streaming solutions.

Senior KDB+ Developer (Contract)

Location: London (Hybrid)

Day Rate: Up to £950 per day

Contract: 12 months initially

We're seeking an experienced Senior KDB+ Developer to join a Front Office electronic trading technology team in London. Working closely with traders and technology stakeholders, you'll design and deliver high-performance, Real Time KDB+ solutions supporting trading, pricing, risk and analytics platforms.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment, offering direct business engagement and rapid delivery cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support KDB+ applications and Real Time data platforms.
