Job Overview

We are seeking dynamic, resourceful, and proficient individuals to join our KDB Development Team in Historical Data Management, working closely with the Compliance Technology team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop key components of the Global FX MI and Analytics platform.
2. Collaborate with quants and electronic tech teams to implement suitable solutions.
3. Design and architect tick data, data access, feeds, and scalable analytics solutions.
4. Implement API-based functionalities.
5. Expand and improve common components, tools, and APIs.
6. Automate metrics, build processes, and testing procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), focusing on specification-based testing.
• Strong analytical skills with knowledge of market and trade data, and basic statistical concepts.
• Ability to query, analyze, and synthesize large datasets.
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.
• Proficiency in q language and writing efficient code.
• Familiarity with kdb tick architecture.
• Adaptability to a dynamic environment.
• Understanding and valuing diverse perspectives to enhance decision-making.
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including automation, deployment, and support.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages (object-oriented or functional) is highly valued.
