Our client based in the Wrexham area is currently looking for a Junior Web Developer to join their team on a permanent basis.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality user-facing applications and websites to tight deadlines.

Performance Objectives

• Working on the maintenance and ongoing development of all relevant web applications and websites, ensuring excellent reliability, performance, and usability.
• Collaborating on new websites, internal tools, and front-end applications from the ground up.
• Translating designs and requirements into responsive, accessible, and performant UIs.
• Working closely with senior developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Person Specification

• An enthusiastic, highly creative Junior Website Developer with a can-do attitude and a willingness to join a fast-paced marketing department and instantly hit the ground running.
• Experience in React.js and Next.js
• Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and modern browser APIs
• Knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3 (responsive design, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility) and TypeScript
• Tailwind CSS or similar modern CSS frameworks
• Experience with Node.js (front-end tooling, build processes, integrations)
• Strapi or similar headless CMS platforms
• Git for source control and collaborative development
• Awareness of SQL and relational databases, including how front-end applications interact with data (no complex database development expected)
