Job summary

DCS Group is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer in Manchester City Centre to join a growing technology team. You will work on customer-facing applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript and AWS, collaborating with Product, Design and Engineering to deliver outstanding user experiences.

You will contribute to architectural decisions, mentor teammates, and help evolve products and engineering practices in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work with two days on-site in Manchester.

You will play a key role in developing and enhancing modern customer-facing applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript and AWS, working closely with Product, Design and Engineering teams to deliver outstanding user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining modern web applications using React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Building scalable, reusable and maintainable frontend components.
• Collaborating with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to deliver new features.
• Driving improvements to performance, accessibility and user experience.
• Participating in technical discussions, code reviews and architectural decisions.
• Mentoring and supporting other developers within the team.
• Supporting cloud-hosted applications and services within AWS.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across systems and development processes.
• Contributing to a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.
