Job summary

Aspion is seeking a Junior Warehouse Manager to join our Crosby team in Liverpool. You will oversee daily goods-in operations, maintain accurate stock records and support efficient warehouse management.

The role focuses on stock control, process improvement and supervision of warehouse staff. Hours are 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for development within a growing logistics business.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, goods-in or stock control environments.
• Strong understanding of stock management and warehouse processes.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (Mintsoft) or similar.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with purchase orders, delivery notes and stock documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily goods-in operations, ensuring deliveries are received, checked and recorded accurately.
• Check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and investigate shortages, damages or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems.
• Manage stock locations, put-away processes and general warehouse organisation.
• Coordinate regular stocktakes and cycle counts, investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels and liaise with purchasing regarding shortages, excess stock and slow-moving items.
• Check supplier invoices against purchase orders and goods-received records.
• Supervise warehouse staff, delegate daily workloads and maintain productivity.
• Manage supplier returns, damaged goods and rejected deliveries.
• Ensure all warehouse documentation and delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and stock control procedures.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, housekeeping and manual handling.

• Previous experience within a warehouse, goods-in or stock control environment.
• Exceptional understanding of stock management, inventory control and warehouse processes.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (Mintsoft) or similar stock control software.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Confident working with purchase orders, delivery notes and stock documentation.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work across different departments.
• A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a busy warehouse environment.
