Job summary

Munich Re Specialty – Global Markets in London seeks an Underwriting Oversight Assistant to support underwriters and maintain monitoring structures in line with Lloyd’s Principles Based Oversight.

The role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to manage data, reports, and administrative tasks across the team. Open to school leavers and recent graduates, with a chance to develop knowledge of insurance disciplines including underwriting, pricing and claims.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular performance monitoring and follow up on findings.
• Support sample reviews of LIC risks and track actions.
• Assist with tracking policy and portfolio performance.
• Produce underwriting oversight reports for committees and data extracts.
• Assist with data collection, file administration and audits.
• Support SharePoint, intranet and team communications.
