DUAL, part of Howden, is hiring for an entry-level underwriter support role in London. You will assist across the underwriting lifecycle, from submissions through to policy administration and portfolio monitoring.

The role emphasizes numerical confidence, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. Attending the London office full-time, you’ll develop expertise in international transactions and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Strong academic track record or evidence of capability; a degree is preferred.
• Insurance or financial-services experience is useful but not required.
• Additional language skills may be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Underwriting and transaction support: assist with assessment, quotation, binding and post-bind management of transactions.
• Research and preliminary analysis: gather financial statements, credit ratings, market information, and prepare concise summaries.
• Data, systems and exposure management: maintain risk, premium and exposure data; reconcile and report.
• Policy, broker and portfolio support: prepare and file policy docs, liaise with brokers, monitor documents and premium information.
• Governance and controls: comply with sanctions, regulatory checks, and internal policies; support QA and reporting.
