Job summary

Standard Life plc in London, with roles across London, Birmingham, Edinburgh & Telford, seeks a Junior Tradefloor Support Analyst to join the Asset Management Technology Solutions team. You will support trading platforms, learn financial tech, and contribute to resolving technical issues in a collaborative environment.

You will gain exposure to leading platforms and finance workflows, with training provided and a path to grow within our retirement-focused organisation.

Qualifications

• A degree in Finance, CS, IT or related field is preferred.
• Basic understanding of financial markets and trading processes (training provided).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn trading platforms.
• Exposure to scripting or coding (SQL, Python, PowerShell) is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for trading and financial applications such as BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg, Tradeweb, and other platforms.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Monitor system performance and escalating potential issues.
• Support user access management and permissions.
• Collaborate with end-users to understand their needs and provide basic technical assistance.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to the team knowledge base.
