Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is supporting a leading property and land consultancy in Cambridge to recruit a Junior Town Planner. The role offers exposure to a broad portfolio of planning projects, with mentoring from experienced planners and opportunities to work with landowners, developers and other property professionals.

You'll hold a degree in Town Planning (or related field), be working towards MRTPI, and develop your technical planning knowledge within a growing consultancy that prioritises

• Degree qualified in Town Planning or related subject.
• Ideally working towards MRTPI or progression towards chartership.
• Experience in planning environment through consultancy, local government or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of planning applications and development projects.

• Support senior colleagues with client instructions and project delivery.

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading property and land consultancy in the appointment of a Junior Town Planner to join their growing planning team in Cambridge.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious planning professional looking to develop their career within a well-established consultancy. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a varied portfolio of projects, working closely with experienced planners, landowners, developers and other property professionals.

The Role

• A confident communicator with strong written and analytical skills.
• Keen to develop their technical planning knowledge and professional career.
• Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a wider team.
• Ambitious and motivated to progress within a growing consultancy.
