Junior Test Engineer

Our prestigious, market-leading client based in South Norfolk is currently seeking an enthusiastic Junior Test Engineer to join their growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position with flexible working hours, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support both remotely and on-site, resolving issues during or after commissioning.
2. Carry out detailed pre-commissioning system tests to ensure all components meet specifications.
3. Conduct on-site commissioning tests to verify proper installation and system functionality.
4. Diagnose and resolve issues during commissioning and initial operation to minimize disruption.
5. Provide remote post-commissioning support using diagnostic tools and software.
6. Monitor system performance post-commissioning to ensure it meets customer expectations and operates within defined parameters, including generating test documentation.
7. Report issues to engineering teams and ensure corrections are implemented in future units.
8. Participate in R&D testing and prototype new equipment.
9. Perform hands-on fault finding.
10. Assist with wiring rework when necessary.
