Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer to join our client's team in Waterbeach. This role is a full-time, permanent position working 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Main Duties:

1. Execute electro-mechanical product testing and generate test reports.
2. Design and assemble PLC-controlled pneumatic test fixtures.
3. Manage test samples, equipment maintenance, and consumables.
4. Perform minor modifications using workshop tools.
5. Assemble components for mechanical verification testing.
6. Coordinate external testing and prepare necessary fixtures.

The Successful Candidate:

1. Understands mechanical/electrical/electronic drawings and principles.
2. Proficient with measuring instruments and basic pneumatics.
3. Experienced in electro-mechanical testing and basic workshop skills.
4. Basic PLC programming and Microsoft Office proficiency.
5. Holds a relevant Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship/Diploma.
6. Detail-oriented and a proactive team player.
