Job summary

Premex Group in Bolton is seeking a motivated Junior Test Analyst to join the QA team. You will deliver high-quality testing across programmes and projects, supporting all phases of the testing lifecycle from definition to execution and reporting. A structured development plan is in place to progress into a non-junior role.

You will work within a cross-functional team, ensuring compliance with IT security standards and assisting in resolving production issues to minimise business disruption.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths are required.
• Awareness of software testing and its importance to business success.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Engage fully in training and development opportunities to build your testing expertise.
• Perform a range of software testing activities and support UAT on complex initiatives.
• Define, prepare, execute, and report on testing activities in line with the Test Strategy.
• Ensure testing outputs meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support testing delivery.
• Contribute to test scoping, impact assessments, and effort estimation.
• Identify risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
• Support business stakeholders in planning and executing UAT.
