Job summary

CPS Group (UK) Limited in Bristol is seeking a Junior Test Analyst to join a growing SaaS product team. Hybrid role with three days onsite.

You will collaborate with Support, Development and Product teams to support releases, test patch cycles, and contribute to test plans, cases, and automated tests. The role focuses on unit, integration and regression testing within an Agile environment, with emphasis on careful documentation and bug reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with a technical mindset.
• Experience within a software development lifecycle.
• Experience testing within an Agile environment.
• Experience working closely with developers and Product Owners.
• Knowledge of test planning, acceptance criteria and documenting test cases.
• SQL experience is desirable.
• Automated testing experience is desirable.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification is desirable.

Salary: Up to £35,000 p/annum + Benefits

Location: Bristol – Hybrid (3 days onsite)

The Role

• Work closely with Support, Development and Product teams to support regular software releases
• Test fortnightly patch releases, including side‑by‑side testing
• Support development sprints by creating testing criteria for major releases
• Carry out unit, integration and regression testing
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, scripts and test data
• Write and maintain automated tests
• Identify, document and report bugs and issues

Required Experience:

• Strong attention to detail with a technical mindset
• Comfortable working across different software and IT systems
• Experience within a software development lifecycle
• Experience testing within an Agile environment
• Experience working closely with developers and Product Owners
• Knowledge of test planning, acceptance criteria and documenting test cases
