Job summary

Retail Human Resources plc is recruiting a Junior Garment Technologist specializing in jersey for a leading fashion retailer on a temporary basis with potential for a permanent contract.

You will manage technical development of jersey products from first fit through to production, ensuring top quality, fit and compliance while collaborating with design, buying, merchandising and suppliers. Immediate start, weekly pay, holiday pay and pension scheme available.

Qualifications

• Previous garment technology experience within a fashion retailer or supplier.
• Strong understanding of fit, fabrics, grading and product testing.

A new opportunity has arisen for a Junior Garment Technologist specialising in jersey to join a leading fashion retailer on a temporary basis, with the potential of a permanent contract. The company is a well-established womenswear retailer with a strong presence across the UK.

You will be responsible for managing the technical development of jersey products from first fit through to production, ensuring the highest standards of quality, fit and compliance while working closely with design, buying, merchandising and suppliers.

The successful candidate will have previous garment technology experience within a fashion retailer or supplier, a strong understanding of fit, fabrics, grading and product testing, be available to start immediately on an ongoing basis and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

As a temp, you will receive a competitive hourly rate that is paid on a weekly basis, as well as paid holiday and the opportunity to join a pension scheme.

As this role is temporary, it is likely to be filled ASAP.
