Job summary

Gold Group Limited in Central London is offering an entry-to-junior level Business Development opportunity in the high-barrier engineering sectors. You will learn end-to-end sales, build relationships with senior technical stakeholders, and prepare commercial proposals under mentorship.

The role enables fast-track progression to a Business Development Consultant, with a hybrid setup (office Mon-Thu and UK travel) and Friday work from home, plus a competitive compensation package with potential

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of commercial or technical experience in a technical or regulated domain.
• Based in or around Central London, with flexibility to travel to client sites across the UK Monday to Thursday.
• Must be UK national eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC).

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and initiate contact with senior engineering, safety, and project stakeholders across target accounts.
• Shadow BD Directors on client visits, pitches, and negotiations to master technical solution selling.
• Assist in drafting, shaping, and submitting tailored technical proposals, quotes, and tender responses.
• Support existing client relationships, ensuring service delivery meets expectations and identifying upselling opportunities.
• Track procurement pipelines, tender notices, and competitor activity across UK Defence and Nuclear supply chains.
